About The Project
Novecento, a captivating play, graced the stage of Teatro Milan in Mexico City from August to December 2019. With its elegant simplicity and captivating performance by the lead actor Benny Ibarra, this production captivated audiences. With innovative sound and set design, the play aimed to provide a truly extraordinary experience for theatregoers.
Visionary Team
Benny Ibarra, renowned for his success as a singer, songwriter, and music producer, shared a profound passion for audio technology. His dedication to delivering an exceptional audio experience to the audience was unwavering. Collaborating with director Mauricio Garca Lozano, they envisioned a modern interpretation of early 20th-century radio theatre, where sound would envelop the audience, immersing them in realism.

The sound production for Novecento involved eight active audio channels, with scenes blending up to 48 audio tracks simultaneously to create specific atmospheres.
